Expansion Timeline
We’re taking the first step in a two-year process to acquire West Florida Hospital from HCA. The asset purchase agreement, or APA, is our intent to proceed with the steps necessary to purchase West Florida Hospital. Baptist Health Care will immediately begin due diligence reviews of the West Florida Hospital assets to be acquired and will complete filings with the Federal Trade Commission for antitrust regulatory approval within 30 days. From the time we close, we anticipate it will take 12 – 18 months to implement our transition/consolidation plan. We will outline milestones along the way as we have them.
The above is a general timeline that estimates the time it will take to implement the acquisition but is subject to change.
